PERSONAL STATEMENT FOR YEAR 2
The pathway I am focusing on for next year will be the 2D side of Art and Design as I am more confident in that field and generally prefer 2D to 3D. Next year I would like to take more risks with the size of my development and final outcomes. I mainly focus on A5 A4 and A3 scaled work. I want to accomplish working with oil pastel and acrylic as my preference is printing ink.
I take every day as it comes therefore in the near future I see myself carrying on with art not only as a hobby but seeking a specialist career to focus it around. To accomplish these goals I must have 100% attendance next year and aim for merits and distinctions in my coursework. Also I need to look into artists, university's and career paths focusing on my style of art.
My skills as a potential employee involve skills such as being confident, organised, able to manage my time and work as a team. I have worked in a charity shop as a volunteer for a year and helped them to organise the storage areas.
I could spend time outside of college focusing on large pieces of art and progressing with my work so I am prepared for next year.
